Zarine is a Senior Manager based in the Inverness Audit team.
She is an ICAS qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters in Voluntary Sector Management and the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DCha). Zarine is also a member of the firm’s Charity Discussion Group.
She manages a varied portfolio of charity and corporate clients with her client base comprising of charities, publicly funded organisations and private companies in the not-for profit, hospitality and leisure, manufacturing and land and rural sectors.
Before joining Saffery in 2022, Zarine was with a top tier firm in London for 11 years where she focused on advising national and international charity clients, and their commercial subsidiaries, in the not-for-profit sector.
Key experience
- Delivering statutory audit services and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts to a range of UK and International companies and charitable groups under UK GAAP and the Charities SORP (FRS102)
- Delivering audits of consolidated financial statements
- Providing grant audit reports for funders.
Interests
Zarine lives in Scotland with her long-term partner. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing and is a keen musician and adventure sports enthusiast.
