Yi specialises in Sustainability & Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), providing advice to help organisations build resilience and create long term value.
She supports clients on sustainability strategy, carbon accounting, climate transition planning and sustainability reporting. Yi also provides assurance services on ESG metrics.
Yi has set up and improved ESG strategies for clients across a range of sectors, both in the UK and overseas.
In the ever-evolving sustainability space, Yi has provided guidance on ESG risk management, sustainability targets and metrics, as well as mandatory and voluntary sustainability disclosures to support clients’ sustainability initiatives. She has also delivered workshops and training sessions on a wide range of sustainability topics to help senior leadership teams navigate the complex landscape.
Yi is a member of the Sustainability Steering Group at Saffery and a member of the EU ESG Working Group and the core ESG group at Nexia International Network.
Key experience
- Conducting multi-stakeholder double materiality assessments for sustainability strategies and meeting sustainability disclosure requirements,
- Providing ESG risk assessments to identify and manage sustainability related risks and opportunities,
- Performing corporate carbon accounting in line with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol – Corporate Accounting Standard,
- Providing guidance on Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) for UK entities,
- Producing Climate-related Financial Disclosure aligned with the recommendations provided by the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD),
- Establishing climate transition plans aligning to the gold standard produced by the Transition Plan Taskforce,
- Providing limited assurance on ESG metrics aligned with ISAE 3000 & ISAE 3410,
- Supporting clients on ESG due diligence and ESG rating, such as CDP,
- Providing bespoke trainings and workshops on sustainability related reporting frameworks.
Interests
Yi lives in Scotland and enjoys winter more than summer. An ideal weekend for her would be nestling into a cozy corner with a good book and mellow music, especially when it’s snowy or rainy outside. She has taken up crocheting as a new hobby.
