Ollie supports our innovative client base to understand the applicability of R&D tax relief to their businesses.
Based in Bristol, Ollie is a member of our specialist tax incentives team which supports clients nationwide to identify and maximise opportunities to claim research and development tax credits, preparing and/or reviewing robust supporting claim documentation to evidence the basis of the claim(s) made.
When preparing or reviewing a claim, he helps clients to navigate the continually evolving R&D tax landscape with robust and maximised claims. Ollie also feeds into Saffery’s Government Consultation responses and publications in respect of R&D tax relief. The tax incentive team is committed to ensuring the successful future of the regime and regularly engages with HMRC in this respect.
Key experience
Advising clients of all sectors and industries and sizes since 2017, with a particular focus on life sciences, engineering / construction, material sciences, agriculture, automotive, defence, and software / fin-tech.
Interests
Ollie lives with his partner and young son in North Somerset. He enjoys exploring National Trust properties with his family, cycling along countryside roads, and board games and video games with friends. He also has two cats, Luna and Truffle (who may make an unexpected appearance on a Teams call if you’re fortunate).
