Matt is a senior manager in the accounts department in the Bournemouth office who advises a range of commercial clients and individuals.
He specialises in and has a passion for advising entrepreneurs and owner managed/family-owned businesses.
Matt works with clients from a wide range of industries including professional practices, recruitment, hospitality, IT and property businesses. Matt’s clients range from new start-up ventures to well established businesses up to and over the audit threshold. Matt also has experience in corporate finance and transactional work.
Key experience
- Helping clients with day-to-day accounting and tax compliance matters and providing day-to-day support they require
- Providing financial and cash flow forecasting and support for transactions, obtaining finance etc
- Advising on cloud-based software such as Xero and assisting with management reporting and system improvements
- Providing tax planning guidance at a personal and corporate level
- Advising on transactional corporate finance work and planning for future exits.
Interests
Outside of work Matt is a keen runner and enjoys keeping fit through CrossFit classes. Matt is based in the New Forest and enjoys being so close to both the beach and woodland areas.
