Margi specialises in providing tax planning and financial advice to private clients and their business interests.
Her client base is varied but has a private client bias. She provides advice and tax planning to a number of wealthy entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, professional partnerships, family businesses and landed estate clients. She also provides consultancy work for one-off instructions.
Margi presents at both internal and external seminars and training conferences, including the Agricultural Lawyers Association (ALA), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Society of Law Accountants of Scotland (SOLAS), Scottish Rural College (SRUC) and the Scottish Government Farm Advisory Service (FAS). She is a recommended accountant and tax advisor in the Spears500 directory for 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Margi joined Saffery in 2017, having previously worked in several firms in the Inverness area. Having grown up on a farm and dealt with rural businesses over many years in the Highlands and beyond, she is extremely familiar with many of the challenges they face, both large and small. She is adept at negotiating the family dynamic as well as the taxation landscape.

Margi is married with a son and enjoys coastal rowing and handicrafts outside the office.
