Andy is a tax director with a wealth of experience providing tax advice to individuals, entrepreneurs and their businesses. He has a particular focus on advising shareholders of owner managed and family businesses.
Andy is part of Saffery’s Private Wealth and Entrepreneurs national practice groups. He provides advice across the full spectrum of private client issues including cash extraction, shareholder planning, family succession, residency, business restructuring, transactions and inheritance tax planning.
Andy joined Saffery from a Big Four firm, where he trained and worked in their tax team for over 16 years.

- Advising on shareholder and corporate restructuring including demergers, share buybacks, internal transactions and preparation for sale or investment.
- Providing transaction tax advice to private company shareholders and management teams.
- Managing personal tax advice to wealthy individuals, their families and planning for inheritance and succession.
- Providing tax advice to individuals leaving the UK, managing ongoing non-UK residents tax affairs and individuals becoming UK resident.

Outside of work Andy enjoys spending time with his family. He is a keen swimmer, football fan, history buff and watch enthusiast.
