Alexandra is a Senior Manager in the London Tax team, providing tax compliance and advisory services to individuals. Alexandra has experience in working with non-domiciled and high net worth clients with complex tax affairs.
Since joining the Personal Tax team at Saffery as a trainee over 10 years ago, Alexandra has gained a wealth of experience including her Chartered Tax Advisor qualification (CTA).
Alexandra is currently working within the Saffery National Tax Team, expanding her experience of other taxes, implementation of firm-wide processes and risk management.
Alexandra is a member of the London Responsible Business Group and has recently joined the Saffery Innovation Group.
Key experience
- Pre- and post-arrival tax planning for non-domiciled and non/dual resident individuals, including analysis of offshore bank accounts, remittance basis planning and offshore structuring advice,
- Advising on residence status, including the application and analysis of the Statutory Residence Test, and assisting with claims under relevant Double Tax Treaties,
- Assisting with claims for relief under the EIS and SEIS schemes and advising on the best use of available reliefs,
- Assisting with general tax compliance matters such as the calculation of capital gains, claims for Gift Aid relief, and the preparation and submission of Self-Assessment tax returns.
Interests
Alexandra lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and young daughter. She enjoys running and taking part in races, baking and trying new restaurants, and house renovations.
