Triple “Most Influential” listing for Saffery Trust Director

profile

Saffery Trust Director, Lisa Vizia, has been named as one of eprivateclients’s 50 Most Influential individuals for the third time.

Lisa was previously named in both the 2020 and 2023 listings in recognition of her skills in “providing proactive strategic input to the clients’ family office deliberations and becoming a trusted advisor at the family office table”.

The list is selected by a panel of PAM Insight judges and highlights individuals at the forefront of their professions.

With close to four decades of experience, Lisa is a prominent and respected thought leader within industry. She has a particular expertise in Middle Eastern structures, with an essential understanding of Sharia Law and the devolution of Middle Eastern estates.

Lisa’s work in this area saw her working in partnership with specialist advisors to successfully attain a blessing from The Grand Court of the Cayman Islands for a momentous decision to distribute assets of a trust to a small number of the discretionary beneficial class, who were the Sharia heirs of the deceased Settlor. Lisa’s expertise was showcased throughout the proceedings, with the Judge commenting that the trustee’s approach has been “textbook”.

Alongside traditional family office matters, Lisa also has a specialism for establishing and  managing structures to hold and administer non-standard assets, including aircraft, art and antiquities.

Lisa said she was delighted to be included in the 2024 listing:

“It is an honour to receive continued recognition as an industry leader alongside other influential professionals. I place a high value on my relationships not only with my clients, but also with Saffery Trust’s global network of specialist advisors, sharing best practice and driving innovation.

“Delivering a first-class service, supporting opportunity and enabling success for my clients has been an endless motivator in my career, and I am grateful for opportunities to influence other professionals to do the same in what is, in my view, an exceptionally rewarding industry.”
