Saffery Trust success continues with triple “top recommended” listings

Three Saffery Trust professionals have been recognised in the 2024 Spear’s Tax & Trust Index for the best tax, structuring, and offshore experts for high-net-worth individuals.

Managing Director, Nick Batiste, Director, Helen Green, and Trusts Director Dominic Lawton-Smith have once again been ranked as “top recommended” in the annual index. The recognition comes after a comprehensive evaluation process involving peer nominations, client feedback, interviews, and data analysis conducted by the Spear’s editorial and research teams.

The listings come during a year of continued success for the Tier I firm, which was named Trust Company of the Year (Midsize Firm) and was shortlisted for Employer of the Year in the 2024 STEP Private Client Awards, won the Corporate Social Responsibility category at the Wealthbriefing European Awards, and was named Firm of the Year at the eprivateclient Excellence Awards.

Saffery Trust’s Cayman, Dubai, and Guernsey offices maintained their top-tier rankings in the 2024 Chambers & Partners High Net Worth Guide, with its Swiss offices also making their debut in this year’s guide. Zurich Client Director Stefan Aegerter was featured in the individual Chambers & Partners rankings, while Guernsey’s Associate Director Matt Gilligan and Manager Zac Hanley were recognised as eprivateclient NextGen Leaders.

Nick, who joined the firm in 1992 before being appointed Managing Director in 2014, commented: “Our continued success and recognition in the industry is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit that define Saffery Trust.”

“We consistently strive for excellence, not just in the service we provide to our clients, but in our commitment to making a positive impact on our people and the wider community. It’s an honour to continue contributing to our shared achievements and to see our firm’s reputation grow stronger with each passing year.”
