Saffery Trust relocates in the Cayman Islands
Saffery Trust Cayman has relocated to a new, greener, office in the Cayman Islands following team growth in the region.
The private client firm’s new office in the Cayman Technology Center has been welcomed by the team, which has more than doubled in size over the last year.
The Cayman Technology Center, located in central George Town, is labelled one of the most innovative commercial spaces in the region and is the only commercial building in the Cayman Islands with sufficient technology to operate completely off-grid if needed.
Winner of the 2018-19 International Property Award for Best Office Development in the Caribbean, the building integrates solar and geothermal technologies which will support Saffery Trust’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.
The move aligns with continued investment by Saffery Trust in the Cayman Islands, which includes sponsorship of the STEP Cayman NextGen Committee to support Caymanian trust and estate practitioners.
Saffery Trust Cayman Director, Andrew Needham, said the move was a positive one.
“Saffery Trust is continuing to build its reputation as a trusted advisor for clients and intermediaries in the Cayman Islands. The growth of our team, and our relocation to a bigger space in this prominent business center, reflects the firm’s increasing foothold in the region.”
“The office is a fantastic environment for our people and visitors, and its great to see the “Saffery teal” adding a splash of colour. I look forward to what’s on the horizon for Saffery Trust Cayman.”
