Director and experienced NextGen’s join Saffery Trust Cayman’s growing team

Saffery Trust Cayman has welcomed the addition of three new team members, including Director Lee Hart.

With over a decade of experience within the trust industry, Lee will support the firm’s other directors in overseeing the establishment and administration of Cayman Islands wealth structures for high-net-worth clients.

Lee said: “Having lived and worked in the Cayman Islands for several years I understand, and have a passion for, the industry and culture that makes the region so attractive to clients and professionals alike. Saffery Trust has a strong, and growing, foothold in the Cayman Islands and I am looking forward to contributing to the delivery of a first-class client service.”

In addition to Lee’s appointment, Alice Kay and Eugenie Jones joined the tier one firm in May and June respectively as experienced Trust Officers.

With an enthusiasm for digital assets, Alice said she was encouraged by Saffery Trust’s reputation as one of the leading trustees in structuring digital assets and wealth.

“Anyone with an interest in digital assets – whether personal or professional – knows how quickly the sector is evolving. Saffery Trust has been working in this area since 2017 and has an excellent reputation within industry; it is exciting to join the team and I’m looking forward to supporting our clients in ensuring their digital assets are appropriately structured and protected,” said Alice.

Saffery Trust Director Andrew Needham said the additions of Lee, Alice and Eugenie were a testament to the firm’s reputation and growth.

“One of the great things about the Cayman Islands is the strong community spirit and the connections you can build with other professionals. To best serve the needs of our growing client base, we are expanding our top tier team. Lee, Alice, and Eugenie each have excellent reputations within industry and are each an asset to the Saffery Trust team.

“We are proud sponsors of the STEP Cayman NextGen initiative, as well as Founding Members of the Cayman Islands Family Office Association, reflecting our commitment to investing in our people, our community, and the future of the industry. We are delighted to have Lee, Alice and Eugenie on the journey with us.”
