Saffery Peterborough is very fortunate to have Peterborough Cathedral as one of its local landmarks which has played an important role in the city’s history.
Unfortunately, the Cathedral’s situation is critical and if £300,000 cannot be raised by the end of March 2025, this impressive building which is part of Peterborough’s heritage will have to close its doors.
Along with a number of other businesses in and around the city, Saffery Peterborough has taken up the opportunity to become a Cathedral Corporate Keyholder and support this historic building. Gareth Norris, audit partner and head of office, was delighted to welcome Michelle Dalby from the Cathedral to Saffery Peterborough’s office on 13 February 2025. Michelle presented a framed painting of the Cathedral to Saffery Peterborough in recognition of becoming a Cathedral Corporate Keyholder.
Peterborough Cathedral still has more funds to raise and further details are on their website at the link below, together with a link to donate directly to their fundraising campaign or become a Corporate Keyholder.
