Saffery in Peterborough recently held an inaugural Finance Directors’ Briefing at the Haycock Manor Hotel in Wansford.
A number of clients, intermediaries and contacts attended the in-person event to hear from the firm’s experts about the latest developments in financial reporting, employment taxes, corporate taxes and VAT. Presenters were specialists from each area including Saffery’s Head of International Tax and Transfer Pricing, Dawn Ross, who is based in Peterborough.
As well as updating attendees on developments in guidance, legislation and requirements in each of these areas, presenters provided some practical tips on implementing changes and dealing with new developments.
Gareth Norris, Head of the Peterborough office and chair of the event said: “It was great to bring back a technical briefing event in person and have another touchpoint with a number of our clients and contacts. There was some good discussion in the room and interesting questions which will help to inform future events. We plan to hold these briefings annually going forwards.”
