Saffery expands team with five new appointments

New trainees in High Wycombe

Saffery is excited to announce the recruitment of new trainees to its team in High Wycombe. These latest appointments reflect the firm’s dedication to nurturing talent and embedding an emphasis on quality and excellent client service from the beginning.

The newly appointed individuals, chosen from a highly competitive selection process, bring a variety of skills to the firm. They will be participating in a comprehensive program that encompasses mentorship, technical training, time out to study for exams and hands-on experience with client projects, to equip them to address the ever-evolving requirements within accountancy.

With many of Saffery’s Partners joining the firm as trainees, it is renowned for its dedication for fully supporting and investing in its people. This is what encouraged Sub Qaiser, Trainee Chartered Accountant, to join the firm as he “aspires to take on a leadership role within Saffery, such as becoming a Partner or leading a specialised team which helps clients to achieve their long-term financial goals, whether that’s through strategic tax planning, wealth management, or business growth strategies.”

New Tax Assistant, Cheran Kalamohan adds: “I chose Saffery because I want to be treated as an individual, not as a number. I’m excited about having the chance to get plenty of hands-on experience in a friendly environment.”

Karthik Kiritharan, Trainee Chartered Accountant, is looking forward to both progressing his career at the firm, as “Saffery has a reputation for being a collegiate and inclusive workplace,” and “building positive long-lasting relationships and going the extra mile to deliver value to clients.”

Bella Johnson, Trainee Chartered Accountant, echoes the sentiments of the other trainees saying, “I chose Saffery because of the welcoming and supportive nature of the firm, as well as its active support of both the personal and professional development of trainees. I am looking forward to not only achieving my ACA qualification, but also to building strong client and team relationships.”

Trainee Certified Accountant, Hammad Hussain adds, “I really enjoyed the interviews where there was a focus on what I can bring to the role as a person rather than just a robotic process solely focused on what I brought to the table on paper in terms of my education and experience. Saffery’s flexibility and work-life balance are also really appealing.”

“We are thrilled to have these individuals join our team,” says Partner, Sheryl Davis. “Their passion for learning and enthusiasm will not only strengthen our firm’s expertise but also help us maintain our commitment to delivering an exceptional service to our clients.”
