Saffery celebrates 25 years of service of High Wycombe team member

Saffery is celebrating 25 years of service by Office Manager and PA, Toni Bartlett. Toni joined the firm in 1998, when it employed 14 people in its High Wycombe office and Saffery had 250 employees in total.

Today there are 1,000 people across nine offices in the UK and the High Wycombe team has nearly tripled in size.

Asked about other significant changes over the years, Toni says:

“I have seen many, including system modernisations, the move to agile working and the increasing requirements of a growing firm. It was, and still is, a very friendly office with a personal feel.”

There have been many highlights for Toni over the past 25 years including, “…moving offices to our current location at St John’s Court, which provides an inspiring place to work and has allowed the team to grow substantially.

“I also loved celebrating key milestones in Saffery’s history such as its 150^th anniversary at an event in West Wycombe House and marking 20 years since the opening of the High Wycombe office at The Dairy in Waddesdon. We also held a reception for clients and colleagues at the Hell Fire Caves, which was incredible.”

From administrative tasks, managing systems and processes, and onboarding clients, to being the office IT contact, Health & Safety coordinator and a Mental Health First Aider, she really is an invaluable member of our team and definitely the ‘go to’ person in the office.”

With such a wide-ranging role, it’s no surprise when Toni adds, “…no two days are ever the same.”

Just like Saffery, Toni is proud of her history but is focused on the future, and considers how she will continue adding value to the firm:
