Peterborough office hosts annual Partner Conference

Each year, all Saffery partners attend a summer conference that is hosted by a different office.

This year’s annual two-day conference was hosted by the Peterborough office. As the opportunity to host the event is a once in a decade experience, the local team stepped up to the mark by providing a truly memorable experience for 140 guests.

The programme of events included a drinks reception with staff from our Peterborough office, an evening in Stamford, a Rugby experience with Neil Back, former World Rugby Champion for England and the British and Irish Lions and a celebratory dinner made with locally sourced ingredients at Peterborough Cathedral, accompanied by live performances from some very talented musicians.

Gareth Norris, Partner in the Peterborough office, said: “It was a privilege for us to host our fellow partners in Peterborough and we were delighted to see such a great turnout.  It is always great to bring all the partners together from across the firm and to say thank you to their spouses and partners for their support.  The musical finale in the cathedral was a special moment.  Our event team from Versatile Venues did a great job for us too.”
