Jane Hill retires from Saffery

After 29 years of committed client service, Saffery partner, Jane Hill is announcing her retirement.

Jane has experienced first-hand the many chapters of our Peterborough office’s evolution and leaves the partner group and team at a point where we’re over 100 people strong.

To honour Jane’s renowned career at Saffery, the Peterborough office gathered together to celebrate with a unique twist – a murder mystery themed retirement party. A fitting tribute to a career marked by leadership, dedication and teamwork.

Jane commented, “I joined the firm in 1995, with the main aim of not becoming bored! The variety of work, the continual learning and the amazing people I have worked with have ensured that after 29 years I am not bored yet!

“There were 17 people in the office initially and we have grown substantially over that time.  Despite the high growth rate, the office has managed to retain its original values and dedication to exceptional client service. The team remains full of excellent, highly skilled individuals that together make the friendly and supportive ‘work family’ that I have come to love.

“There is no doubt I am going to miss the people, both the incredible clients I have had the privilege to support and the staff that have in turn supported me. However, I am leaving all my clients in the very capable hands of the remaining partners in the office and the respective client teams. Over the last year we have all been committed to ensuring a smooth handover and I am confident I can slip away without even a ripple thanks to the commitment of the team and partners alike.

“I look forward to watching the office continue to grow and evolve over the coming years.”

Although the office has grown, we have managed to retain that feeling of caring and Jane was at the start of that – a great legacy to leave the office with.

“We are fortunate to have a great and growing team who will continue to support our clients from our Peterborough office.

“We all wish Jane well in her retirement, and look forward to seeing her at our social events over the coming months and years.”
