Isla MacGillivray and Erin Berry named in Accountancy Age’s 35 under 35

Isla MacGillivray, Partner, and Erin Berry, Corporate Finance Director, have been named in the Accountancy Age 35 under 35 2024 rankings.

Accountancy Age 35 under 35 are the annual rankings that showcase the industry’s rising talent, who the judges feel demonstrate innovation, leadership potential and dedication to their profession.

Isla MacGillivray, based in our London office, is a qualified as a chartered accountant. She became a Partner in 2022 at the age of 32, the youngest Saffery Partner at the time, and quickly rose to Head of Saffery’s London Film and TV Group two years later.

She provides specialist financial, accounting, audit and taxation advice to a range of clients, from small independent British film producers to the largest UK and Hollywood studios, streamers and developers across film, TV and video games. Isla is one of the very few people who specialise in all three major creative sector tax reliefs.

Isla has worked on a large number of well known films, TV shows and video games including Star Wars, Silo and Fall Guys. She has lectured at various industry events, including at Cannes Film Festival, Content London, FOCUS, MOVE Summit and EGX.

Erin Berry is AAT and ACCA qualified and specialises in due diligence. She began her career in corporate finance at the age of 16 when she joined the profession as an apprentice. She has since gained experience across various departments including accounts, audit, tax, and outsourcing.

Erin is based in our Manchester office and supports her clients with early-stage bespoke advice, including vendor due diligence and vendor assistance services.

In 2022, Erin won Finance Professional of the Year at the Manchester Young Talent Awards, and the following year she co-founded the team that won Young Professional Team of the Year at the Insider North West Young Professional Awards.
