Saffery undertakes due diligence on the merger of PHL Group and Malling Health

Healthcare services provider, PHL Group, backed by Ethos Partners, has merged with Malling Health, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing dedication to exceptional, patient-focused care.

We previously advised Ethos Partners, who, along with lender ThinCats, facilitated the management buyout of PHL.

About PHL Group and its strategic integration

PHL Group provide a range of primary, integrated, and technology enabled healthcare services to the NHS and private healthcare providers across the UK, covering Hampshire and the South East, in addition to large areas of Scotland.

Malling Health provide a mixture of primary and urgent care services to ICBs and NHS trusts in the Midlands and Cambridgeshire. This strategic acquisition allows PHL Group to further strengthen its partnerships as it expands its services across the UK.

Saffery provided financial and tax due diligence services to PHL Group in addition to giving bespoke transaction advice.
