Saffery promotes partner to Film & TV practice in Ireland

Saffery has announced the promotion of Sinead McHugh to partner in the firm’s Dublin office, focused on the Film and TV industry in Ireland.

Sinead has been advising clients in the media and creative sector for 10 years, and is a member of Saffery’ Film and Television Group having joined the firm in 2010. She specialises in advice relating to film and tv production financing and tax reliefs.

Her clients include the full spectrum of industry organisations, from small independent film and television production companies, to major international film studios and broadcasters looking to structure their production across multiple territories. Sinead advises clients on how to manage the tax implications of complex multijurisdictional productions. 

Sinead joins John Gleeson as the second partner to be based in Ireland, with John having joined the firm in April to head up Saffery’ offering in Dublin.
