Moses is a partner in the Film and TV Team, providing specialist advice on accessing and maximising the various creative sector tax reliefs and in particular those pertaining to Film/TV Production and Video Game development.
Over the last two decades, Moses has advised a number of clients across the creative sectors ranging from major Hollywood studios/streamers and multi-national video game developers/publishers, through to smaller independent UK/US production companies and video game studios. The projects Moses has advised on range from major Hollywood blockbusters and AAA games to smaller indie productions and mobile games.
Moses is regularly invited to speak and sit on expert panels to discuss tax incentive opportunities across all the creative sectors and has spoken at seminars in several cities, including London, Cannes, New York, Seville, Los Angeles, Austin and Toronto.
Key experience
- Over the years, Moses has and continues to contribute to HM Revenue & Customs consultation groups with respect to the design and implementation of the existing creative sector tax reliefs currently in place as well as future tax reliefs expected to be introduced,
- Moses has advised on hundreds of tax credit claims over the years, guiding clients through the compliance process and generating cash rebates for our clients well in excess of £1 billion.
Interests
Moses has two children and lives in Kent. In his spare time, family commitments notwithstanding, Moses enjoys playing golf and more recently (post COVID), masquerading as an amateur DJ.
