Nathalie specialises in Private Wealth and has a mixed portfolio including landed estates, agricultural businesses, wealthy individuals, property development companies, owner managed businesses and entertainment clients.
She deals with all matters from assisting with her clients’ day-to-day accounting needs including preparation of accounts for tax purposes, to both income and capital tax planning including succession planning and use of trusts. Nathalie also advises on property VAT.
Nathalie regularly speaks at external events where audiences have included the Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators (IAgSA), land agents, lawyers and bankers.
Nathalie is a member of the firm’s Private Wealth Practice Group. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Key experience
Examples of advisory work includes:
- Advising on reorganisation of a business to improve the family’s inheritance tax provision,
- Providing tax advice relating to the most beneficial ownership structure for a potential building development, including maximising VAT recovery,
- Advising a family on succession issues including passing assets onto the next generation in the most beneficial way for tax purposes,
- Reviewing a client’s accounting function to try and maximise efficiencies.
Interests
Nathalie lives in Bristol with her husband, two grown up daughters, and Rory, the cavapoo. She loves to travel and is also an avid women’s football supporter, having watched her children play since they were little. As well as her day job, Nathalie is also chair of a local girls and women’s football club.
