Alex is a trusted and experienced accountant working with clients in the sports and entertainment sector, including many world-renowned athletes across golf, tennis and other touring sports.
Alex provides clients with a range of services from tailored outsourcing solutions to dealing with their global taxation structuring and compliance.
Alex joined Saffery in July 2024, having previously spent 16 years at Arena Wealth managing the businesses of sports stars and entertainers.

- Developing the sports business significantly during his time at Arena Wealth to create a business dealing with multiple Grand Slam winners and world no.1 tennis players as well as Ryder Cup players and Olympic Gold medallists,
- Advising athletes and entertainers on global taxation requirements and tax treaties,
- Running the outsourced finance department for boutique sports agencies,
- Presenting to the ATP on worldwide tax compliance requirements for players.
Interests
Alex lives in South West London and is married with two children. When he’s not ferrying his children to sports fixtures he tries to keep fit and enjoys playing golf, tennis, skiing and water sports. He enjoys spending time with his family, loves good food and enjoys travelling.
