Saffery prepares local school students for future career success

Saffery in High Wycombe empowers local students

Saffery in High Wycombe was thrilled to participate in ‘Futures Day,’ a programme designed by Holmer Green Senior School in Buckinghamshire to help equip its students with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive work environment.

The initiative focused on helping them excel in job interviews within the accountancy sector, followed by speed networking.

Recognising the importance of effective communication and presentation skills, the school developed a comprehensive workshop tailored specifically for Year 12 students. It covered a range of topics, including, interview etiquette, effective communication strategies, and mock interviews with professionals from a range of companies. Kit Hurley an Audit Manager from Saffery was in attendance.

He said: “We were excited to participate in this year’s programme and help prepare the students for future success in the job market, by providing them with the right tools, confidence and experience. They performed brilliantly, and we hope they’ll consider an apprenticeship at Saffery after leaving school.”

Saffery creates a supportive environment that enables its trainees to learn, progress and thrive. To find out more about early careers opportunities at Saffery, please visit: https://www.saffery.com/careers/early-careers/
